Prague
Prague is a magical city, moody, reawakening. Cobble streets, Gucci fashion, rumbling streetcars, tourists and fine classical symphonies. The bustle and romance of staid this old continental capital emerging into the rush of modern Western European life makes for a rich experience for the visitor - and a wide range of subjects for the photographer

Prague Rain
It was a dull and a rainy afternoon and my journey to the historic town of Kutna Hora outside of Prague had been a bust. No blue sky, no photographs. Returning to Prague and stuck in traffic I was drawn to the raindrops on the windshield, and started shooting through the drops on the glass, changing focus, trying different angles. As I drove around town looking for mood subjects, this wet bicyclist passed on the cobble streets of Mala Strana- Old Town.

Czech Republic
Images from Prague and the Czech Republic are finally up on the site. It was quite a trip. The city is bustling, full of tourists and enthusiasm, and upbeat in an encouraging way. The last time I visited was years, years ago - what a change.
Cesky Krumlov is another medieval delight, almost storybook, in Southern Bohemia. A UNESCO World Heritage site and definitely worth a day or two of wanderings.

Prague
I have just arrived in Prague for two weeks. Photographing this wonderful Bohemian city and the Southern town of Ceske Krumlov will be a great pleasure. For the first time I shall try to post occasional images as they are produced. This is the red tile rooftop of the church of Saint Jakub.
