Image tags are experimental feature now available for selected users at davidsanger.com.
What are image tags?
Tags are way to mark images you are interested in. A tag is just a text string that can be connected with any number of images.
How to create an image tag
Enter the tag name in the tag box and then tab out of the field. Tags are not 'owned' by individual users so anybody can use any tag and change which images are tagged. If you want aprivate tag that only your project members can use, select a tag text which will be unique eg. project47Q or viaoct05.
How to assign tags to images
Do any kind of search in the stock2 section and there will be a checkbox next to each returned image. Checking the box will immediately tag a selected image with the current tag in the tag field.
How to retrieve tagged images
Enter the tag text preceded by the letters 'tag' in the searchbox. For example if you use tag 'test1' enter the search term 'tagtest1' to retrieve all the tagged images. You can combine that with other search terms like 'tagtest1 sweden' . Like any search at davidsanger.com there is also a unique URL you can bookmark. To find all images with tag 'test1' the URL is www.davidsanger.com/stock2/tagtest1
How to change the tag you are working with
Enter a new tag name in the tag field and the cehckboxes will all automatically update to show which of the currently displayed images have the new tag.
