Tango is not only dance but atmosphere, passion, energy and style. During a shoot in Buenos Aires with two dancers, Federico and Ayelen Paleo, a quiet moment between takes shows another aspect – attitude. The red kerchief, single hand and close crop on the torso focus the viewer on the dancer’s body, with a sense of anonymity and mystery. Close details like this often complement a broader story. We shot later that week at a milonga and several street festivals.
