Ireland is proud of her whisky – triple distilled, single-malt and finer than the finest Scotch, they say. A tour of the three distilleries in the Republic of Ireland and the North – Midleton in Cork, Jamesons in Dublin and Bushmills in County Antrim, takes one through centuries of history, from quiet countrysides inns to hip and busy Dublin.
